Complex Media Electromagnetics Laboratory

Welcome to the Complex Media Electromagnetics Laboratory, which is a unit within the Radiophysics Department. Laboratory is responsible for teaching some special coursesNew! and conducting research in its special field. The main field of our interests is the electromagnetics of bi-anisotropic media, such as chiral materials, other media with magnetoelectric interactions, and artificial magnetics. We are doing mainly theoretical studies, and there is also strong interest to other problems in theoretical electromagnetics. We perform some experiments in the microwave region, in particular, measuring properties of omega composites. The Laboratory director is Associate Professor Alexander Sochava.
