| Artem V. Khlybov
Artem Khlybov currently works as assistant professor of Radiophysics at SPbSPU.
He graduated St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University, Russia, namely the Radiophysical Department (Radiophysics, 2001), and the Department of Technical Cybernetics (Automation and Computer Systems, 2002). He conducted post-graduation at the Radiophysical Department, where he obtained Ph.D. in 2004. The Ph.D. thesis was concerned with fiber optic polarimetric sensors based on the photoelasic effect. Presently he is Associate Professor of the Radiophysics Department. During the research activity, he studied different types of the fiber optic sensors based on white light interferometry, classic interferometric and polarimetric schemes, and distributed sensors exploiting the effect of Rayleigh backscattering. Prototypes of new sensing elements for the fiber optic polarimetric sensors were developed, which can be used to design vibrometers, acoustic sensors, micrometers, accelerometers, and magnetometers. |
